Brenda Delfino (she/her/hers) is a poeta, imigrante, based in Riverside, CA. She is a multimodal visual and literary artist and educator. Brenda is passionate about community coalition and creativity for self-determination and healing. She received an MFA in Creative Writing and Writing for the Performing Arts from University of California, Riverside. She is a VONA and Along the Chaparral Fellow. Her works have appeared in World Literature Today, Los Angeles Review of Books, Spectrum Magazine, and elsewhere. She is currently working on her Full length poetry collection Dictaduras de las Aguas. Brenda is a literary and poetry liason at Black Light Arts Collective, a communal non-profit dedicated to redistributing Black artistic knowledge to those who historically have been marginalized from traditional art spaces. She is Poet B in the radio segment Baby Poet at Radio Tirado.
